Insurance companies are supposed to help their clients, but is that really the case?
Consider a recent news story from Indiana that highlights how an insurance company attempted to deny a claim for a massive medical transport fee. The situation involved a woman who was unresponsive when paramedics called for a medical helicopter to airlift her. Unfortunately, because she was unable to call and obtain approval for the airlift while in that state, the insurance company refused to cover the costs. IYKYK!
